On a quest to visit the local lighthouses, we found ourselves at Sandy Hook Guardian Park near Fort Hancock to visit the Sandy Hook Lighthouse. While here, we drove through and checked out the Proving Grounds and Nine Gun Battery, all amazing sights to see and highly recommended to visit yourself if you have not!
Afterwards, we stopped at the Twin Lights State Historic Site to climb the lighthouses and look out over Sandy Hook and the vast Atlantic Ocean to New York City.
